Shushtar/ Darolmomenin ( the city of pious people)
Shushtar is an ancient city of Iran, Khuzestan province which is located in Zagros foothill. Geographically, from the north the city leads to Gotvand, from the east it leads to Masjed Soleyman, from the south to Ahvaz and from the west to Shush. Shushtar has warm summers and moderate mediterranean winters. Shushtar is one of the important historical cities of Iran with a lot of historical heritage.

Shushtar has other attractions such as: Waterfalls and Watermills that are the most largest industrial complex built before the Industrial Revolution, Shadravan Bridge ( Kaisar Dam) that is one of the oldest bridges in the world, Shushtar Jame Mosque that is a beautiful historical mosque related to the early Islam, Lashkar Bridge that is the most intact bridge remains from the Sassanid era, Mizan Dam which is a handmade bridge related to Sassanid era, Mostofi Historical House, Salasal Castle, and Marashi Historical House.
