On the morning of day 7 drive toward Yazd.

Today, the Zoroastrian city is welcoming you. The city of friendly people, old contractures, delicious sweets, and great Qanats. As this city is a desert city, people in the past had to conserve water and keep it eatable and clean. That is why they made many Qanat, where they could keep water, in Yazd. Since the city is located in the desert region, it has a dry and hot climate. Yazd can be considered as a two-season city; a long hot season (from March until September) and a short cold season (from October until February).

The best time to visit Yazd is January, February, March, and April because the hot weather in summer might bother you and it doesn’t allow you to enjoy it enough.

What to do or see in Yazd:

We will visit the Dowlat Abad garden and take some photos. We can stroll down the streets, visiting the many sightseeing such as Khan Bazaar, Water museum, and Amirchakhmag complex. Amir Jalal al-Din Chakhmaq Shami lived during the Timurid dynasty and was announced the ruler of Yazd by king Shahrukh of Timurid. With the help of his wife, Fatemeh Khatun, Chakhmaq was able to build a square, a reservoir, a monastery, a school, a caravanserai, and water well, a bazaar, and most importantly a mosque in Yazd.

Desert time:

Iran is a country with a warm and dry climate, so many deserts are spreading in different places all over Iran, and especially its centers near Yazd. Mysterious lands that traveling to them would be one of the most exciting experiences of your life for sure.

With this explanation, we do recommend that you shouldn't miss going to the desert where the local people have established adorable camps in the heart of desserts. There, you enjoy watching a sunset, walking on the Sandhill, have a night gathering, set on fire, and drink a cup of tea that is made on the fire. Listening to traditional music.

Overnight, you will have two options:

A camp or stay in a traditional house located in the heart of the desert.

To go back to Yazd and stay in your hotel.

We do recommend you to stay one night in the desert, it could be an unforgettable experience for you. But please let us know if you are not comfortable with sleeping in the mattress and not having a private bathroom, we will arrange a comfortable room with all facilities for you in the hotel in Yazd.

How to get to Yazd:

  1. Private driver
  2. VIP Bus

The best way is doing pre-book your driver-guide. This way, you can have a stop in Marvdasht to visit Persepolis (UNESCO World Heritage), and your guide will explain about this historical and architectural background. Then, continue your way to Yazd.

Please consider that you will have approximately 5 hours driving to Yazd so we recommend you visit only Persepolis, but if you are a very energetic person, you can see Necropolis and Pasargadae too

Where to stay in Yazd?

Staying at a traditional hotel is desirable when traveling to a historic city. But Yazd like other cities of Iran has modern hotels that you can choose any of them based on your interest.

We recommend you stay at the traditional hotels in the city because staying at such hotels is not possible in any other city. Fazeli, Fahadan, Safaiyeh, and Dad hotels are the best traditional hotels in Yazd. If you are not interested in staying at traditional hotels, you can stay in modern hotels in the city like Arg, Jahangardi, Zanbagh, and Karavan.

What to eat? Where to eat?

We recommend you to try Ashe Sholi and Khoresh-e Gheimeh, these are the most famous food of Yazd and you can eat them in Talar-e Yazd restaurant that is also called "Haji Ashpaz". Moshir, Khan Dohad, Adib Al-Mamalek, Mahoor, Abul Maali, and Malek Al-Tojar are other great traditional restaurants in Yazd that you can go to and enjoy eating delicious foods.

Also, this small town is could be an important place to stay for one night because of its good geographical location, this ancient touristic city is among the three historical cities of Isfahan, Yazd, and Shiraz. So Abarkouh could be a good choice for those who would like to have a stop to rest when traveling to these three cities.

The city has more than 400 monuments, 123 of them are listed in the National Iranian List of Works.

You will have a full-day tour of Shiraz on day 9:

Shiraz which is known as a city of lovers is a land full of worth seeing things. It is believed that Shiraz is the most beautiful tourist city in Iran. Shiraz is also one of the biggest cities in Iran.

It should be said that Shiraz is one of the most beautiful cities of Iran that many titles are assigned to it, for example, "city of lovers" and it is due to the matter that Shiraz is the hometown of great poets like Hafez and Saadi. The city also has many historical and natural attractions that you will become interested in them. The people of Shiraz are warmhearted. Traveling to Shiraz can be one of your most memorable trips.

Where to go and visit Shiraz?

In Shiraz, you're going to visit the city of easy-going people, great poems, beautiful gardens and fruits. Shiraz is the center of Fars province which is the central province of Iran in agriculture. A lot of vineyards are around and within this city made this city famous for its red wine before the revolution. Today, you will see the Vakil complex including Arg of Karim Khan which is one of the most beautiful and unique monuments of Shiraz, Bazaar, Bathhouse, and Mosque. Nasirolmolk Mosque which is a 1000-color mosque of Iran, and where you will change your idea about colors. You are surrounded by different colors there and feel you are flying over a big rainbow. After visiting these sights, you will eat your lunch at a traditional luxury restaurant. In the afternoon, you will have a walking time in the old part of the city and then will see Hafez and Saadi tombs. Iranians believe Hafez's poems can tell them what is going to happen for them in the future. That is why they first focus on their wish, close their eyes, and open Hafez's book randomly and try to find a connection between the meaning of that poem and their wish.

Where to stay in Shiraz?

Shiraz has many nice hotels with different categories for people with different budgets.

For example, Zandieh and Grand's hotel are the best 5 * hotels in Shiraz. Zandieh is located in the old part of the city so you need to walk only 5 minutes to get the sightseeing, and the Grand Hotel located near the Qoran gate in a nice location. If you chose this hotel for your stay in Shiraz, you will have the chance to see a beautiful view of Shiraz when you sit on your room’s terrace.

But if you prefer to spend less money and stay in a good quality hotel we recommend hotels like Karimkhan and Arg hotels, these hotels are 3and 4* with a more affordable fee.

These days, some of our clients like to stay in hotels which have a traditional style, many traditional hotels can be the best choice for those who interested in staying in this kind of traditional place.

What to eat? Where to eat?

Shiraz has many different kinds of food. One of the most popular local food is Kalam polo. You can find it in all restaurants in Shiraz, but if would like to eat the best one, I suggest you eat at Haftkhan restaurant. Haft khan restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Shiraz that has seven floors and you can eat different kinds of food there. Haft khan restaurant is also famous because of serving delicious Shirazi Halva. Soofi, Shater Abbas, Shandiz, Berentin, Bagh-e Raz, and Lotus restaurants are among the best restaurants in Shiraz.

In addition to Kalam polo, other local foods are cooked in Shiraz such as Shekar polo, Dopiyazeh Alu, Lari Kebab, Ash Sabzi, and Ash Kardeh.

I hope you can try all of them, but if you want me to offer you one of them, it is highly recommended to try Ash Sabzi.

Ashe Sabzi is a kind of vegetable soup that is cooked in Shiraz and served as breakfast. If you want to try this kind of soup and other local soup of Shiraz, you just need to go to Shams restaurant early in the morning.

As far as I have been working in tourism which is a long time, we have had many clients who came to Iran from different countries, and most of them liked Iranian fast food a lot so we recommend you to go to the Crispi Land, Davenico and Lavia restaurants.

Here you can get familiar with two different cultures at the same time, simple rural life next to Nomadic life, you see that these two tribes have remained for many years next to each other and some of them got married, so that’s why there are many things in common between them. Sepidan is surrounded by lots of apple, nut, apricot, plum gardens that you can visit. Yellow, red, orange leaves of trees, the rustling of leaves in the breeze, the roaring river, and the other natural sounds inside of the gardens make you feel safe and free.
