Menar Jonban

Menar Jonban is one the famous historical sites in Iran which is 5 kilometers West of Isfahan and in the road between Isfahan and Najaf Abad. This monument comprises of one porch and two minarets.

The grave of a famous man of the 8th century named Abdollah Ibn Mohammad Ibn Mahmoud is in this monument. This monument was built at the same time as the reign of Ilkhanate dynasty. This monument is very valuable because of its architecture.

One of the interesting features of this monument is that if you move one of the minarets the other minaret and the whole building moves as well. The height of this building is 10 meters and the height of the minarets is 5.17 meters. It is interesting to know that this building wasn't constructed to move, and if it moves a lot it might lead to it being destroyed.
