Hakim Mosque
Hakim Mosque is one of the most exquisite mosques in Iran. It has four porches and was built between the years 1051 AH and 1073 AH during the reign of Shah Safi and Shah Abbas II.
This was done with the help of Dr. Mohammad Davoud Khan known as Taqarob Khan. Hakim Mosque was built over the ruins of Jour-Jir Jam'eh mosque of the 4th century. According to the inscriptions, the architect of this monument is Mohammad Ali Ibn Setad Ali Beik Isfahani.
This Mosque is famous for its unique architecture and several inscriptions written by Mohammad Reza Imami, the famous calligrapher of the Safavid Era. One beautiful part of this monument is the sanctuary designed with triangle shaped cyan inscriptions.
