Gebri Castle (Ray City)
Gebri Castle is located in the South-East of Ray City. This monument is 2000 years old. Its area is 3000 square meters and was built during the Sasanian Era. The towers and the ramparts were destructed due to erosion and today only the lengthy and high walls made of adobe and mud still stand.
After the Islamic revolution in Iran, this castle turned into a gunpowder factory and after the death of the owner, it was added to Shah Adol-Azim Shrine.
Since the interior of the castle is not very important and also because of the high walls of the castle, it is now being used as a storage room.
