Iranian musical instruments are in two kinds: traditional and modern. These instruments include the Tanbur, Reed, Tar, Setar,  Daf, Santour, Fiddle, Tonbak, etc.

Tanbour

Tanbour is one of the oldest and mystical instruments in Iran. It is larger than Setar, and in ancient times it was known as Dotar. Archaeologists believe that this instrument has 6,000 years old.

'TWO RELIGIONS, TWO CULTURES' a trip combining  the first Christian country in the world - ARMENIA with an extensive visit to northern IRAN, and as well the southern towns of Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz, Persepolis and Yazd.
