15 Days

The Nowruz is a traditional festival of the Iranians, which celebrates the New Year of the Persian calendar. Symbol of rebirth and renewal. The Iranians take advantage of Norouz's holiday to visit their families, friends, and relatives. Great festivals are organized on the occasion of Norouz.

Novruz celebrates the Persian New Year, and the beginning of Spring. Novruz means 'New Day'.

It is a time of great joy and family celebrations that are shared by people of all faiths in many countries and traces its history back through the centuries to the ancient Mesopotamian civilization and the Persian Empire.

This is one of humanity's oldest holidays, and although it may be often called Persian New Year, it predates the Persian Empire and can be traced back 5,000 years to the Sumerian and the Babylonian civilizations.

It is all about saying goodbye to Winter and hello to Spring!

In Iran, the Nowruz holiday is usually accompanied by a large volume of tourist trips. The number of such trips has been growing in recent years.

The festivities of Nowruz in Iran will continue for around two weeks until Farvardin 13 (April 2nd) and the festival marks the revival of nature, the start of fresh life, and the most proper time in nature to begin a New Year. Happy Nowruz 2022 to all!

On April 4, Iranians go to natural places such as parks, gardens, forests, and out-of-town areas. This ceremony is called Sizdah Bedar. One of the common tasks in this celebration is tying the green.
