  • Jameh Mosque is located at the North West side of the old square. The initial mosque was located near Yavan, which is an old village and the mosque was probably constructed over a monument built before Islam.

  • Tochal complex is located at the end of Velenjak Street and about 3 kilometers from Tajrish Square in Shemiranat quarter. The entrance of this complex is 1830 meters higher than the surface of sea. After passing a road, in the height of 1910 meters, the first tele cabin station is located.

  • Hafezieh is the name of a tomb in the North of Shiraz and South of Quran Gate and Hafez, a great Persian poet is buried there. This monument was built during the Zand Dynasty. Its length is 56 meters and its width is 8 meters. There are 20 stoned columns inside the building and the height of each is 5 meters. The architectural style of this tomb belongs to the Achaemenid and Zand Era.

  • Hakim Mosque is one of the most exquisite mosques in Iran. It has four porches and was built between the years 1051 AH and 1073 AH during the reign of Shah Safi and Shah Abbas II.

  • This old ice house dates back to the Qajar Era. Meybod Ice House is one of the few remaining ice houses located in Yazd Province which is made of adobe and mud. This ice house is comprised of walls that are high, a small pool with frozen water, a reservoir and a dome.

  • Shibili Tower dates back to the 4th and 5th century and during the Seljuq Dynasty. This tower has the landscape of the whole town.Shibili tower had a simple octagon shape, then in the next era it got the architectural style of the Seljuq artists and had brick work done on the tower.

  • Amir Jalal al-Din Chakhmaq Shami lived during the Timurid dynasty and was announced the ruler of Yazd by king Shahrukh of Timurid. With the help of his wife, Fatemeh Khatun, Chakhmaq was able to build a square, a reservoir, a monastery, a school, a caravanserai, a water well, a bazaar and most importantly a mosque in Yazd.

  • This house dates back to the Qajar era, in the Fahadan district in yazd. The structure of this house was inspired by the overall style of a house built during the same time. The Lari House consists of two separate parts, an interior and an exterior part and a central yard.

  • Tomb of Saadi or Saadieh is where Saadi, a great Persian poet had lived and was buried. This tomb is next to Delgosha Garen and at the end of Boustan Street in Shiraz. Many gravestones of great religious leaders are around the gravestone of Saadi. Among which is Shouride Shirazi's gravestone.

  • On the East side of Zayanderud River and Khaju Bridge there are monuments that date back to the Safavid Era and the reign of Shah Abbas II in 1060 AH. This bridge was a multipurpose bridge.
